Book "Sayısal Fil: A Study at the Intersection of Information Technologies, the State and Law" Published

AUTHOR

Assist. Prof. Dr. Elif KÜZECİ

"Elif Küzeci's book examining the power of information technologies, including the Internet, Artificial Intelligence and the blockchain model, to transform the state and law is out!"

In her book Sayısal Fil, Elif Küzeci invites readers on a journey to discuss the fundamental dynamics of the new era, starting from the three elements of the modern state: population, territory and political power. On this journey, guided by thinkers of the Age of Enlightenment and contemporary writers, she visits the Internet, which brings together people who are physically far apart, and technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, autonomous weapon systems and blockchain; she wanders the boundaries of cyberspace; and she discusses the possible effects of surveillance technologies and the political position of the Tech Giants. Works of literature, painting and music accompany us at every stop of this journey.
